City & County Homelessness Responsibilities:

  • The City of San José manages its housing policy, land use, and program implementation.

  • Santa Clara County oversees healthcare, key social services, affordable housing units and regional initiatives to end homelessness. The county also has the responsibility for care to those with Serious Mental Illness (note: this does not include all mental health issues).

    1. Screenshot your submission

  2. File an additional report for illegal dumping / blight at SJ311

    1. Save your report number

  3. Send an email to [email protected] with the report number and screenshot, CCing our D7 team at [email protected]

  4. If the issue is not addressed quickly, please ask our team to inquire and escalate for you.

How to Report RV’s and Cars

To report homeless RV’s, Lived-In Vehicles, Abandoned vehicles, and other vehicle concerns::
